TERMS of WARRANTY

All steel parts of the cookware are covered under this warranty for defects in the material and workmanship (manufacturing defects) for a period of 3 years (for the cookware) and 2 years (for coatings or treatment, if any) from the date of purchase unless stated otherwise. Regular wear and tear are not a defect and is not covered under this warranty.

Specifically excluded from this limited warranty are:

  • Any problems arising from misuse, dropping, exposure to extreme temperatures, preheating the pan empty to a very high temperature, letting liquids boil dry, allowing gas flames to come up the sides of the pan, sudden temperature changes
  • Minor imperfections and slight colour variations in the enamel, coatings or metals which are a normal part of the craftsmanship
  • The final polish of the product, as this can become dull with usage
  • Non-stick & ceramic coatings, plastic, rubber and glass parts are not covered under this warranty

The cookware must be used in accordance with the usage instructions supplied along with the cookware. Subject to the Terms of Warranty, we will replace or repair the cookware free of cost, at our discretion.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Never use the cookware without any food or water in it. Doing so may permanently damage the cookware.

  • Cleaning: Use a chlorine-free kitchen cleanser instead of a chlorine-based cleanser, as free chlorine can adversely affect the material
  • The cookware can be washed in a dishwasher, but this may dull the polish
  • Rinse the cookware and dry thoroughly after washing
  • Do not leave food or water in the cookware. Do not leave the cookware lying in water or dirty dishes for long. Chemicals and natural salts in the water and decomposing food can cause pitting of the metal. Never add salt to the pan when there is no food or liquid in it.
  • Salts, lime, vinegar, and other acidic / alkaline substances must be rinsed from the pan as they may cause rusting
  • Do not use steel wool or harsh cleaning pads on the exterior of the cookware as they can scratch the finish. In case of non-stick and ceramic pans do not use sharp metal utensils on the interior coating. Do not bang spatulas or spoons against the pan as it may damage the pan.
  • Do not use in a microwave
  • Do not suddenly cool a heated pan by holding under water or by any other method. It may cause warpage.
  • For efficiency, stability, and safety, centre your pan on a hob suitable to the diameter of the pan

 PRODUCT CARE

  • Always store in a cool and dry place
  • The base of the cookware is magnetic and may react to humid environments. To stop these reactions, oil the pan with vegetable oil and wipe off after some time. This will have no adverse effect on cooking.
  • Separate the cookware with cloth or paper when storing, to prevent scratches from friction
  • Incase of rainbow-coloured stains, cloudiness, dullness and white marks:
  • Clean with mild soapy water (except for coated pans) OR
  • Wipe vinegar or lemon juice on the stain, allow to stand for 5 min, and then clean with a non-abrasive cleansing agent
  • Wash and dry
  • In case the pan becomes blue to brown (this happens due to dry heating), the cooking properties of a stainless steel pan are not hampered and you can continue to cook in it.

However, dry heating may cause a non-stick or ceramic pan’s inner coating to deteriorate.

Discolouration of the pan has no impact on its performance. Use the above steps to clean this as well.

  • When storing away for an extended duration, apply a light coat of oil on the inside and outside surfaces of the pan
